The date was June 17, 1972, in the United States. A group of five men whose identities and main intentions had been determined was caught breaking into the Democratic National Committee (DNC) headquarters in the Watergate office building located in Washington, D.C.
These five men were found inside the DNC office with advanced equipment for wiretapping. Nobody knew their political affiliations, not until the FBI executed their comprehensive investigations. After the Committee to Re-elect the President (CRP, which can also be known as CREEP) somehow got into this fiasco, unlawful acts were imposed, sanctions were imposed, and President Richard Nixon's administration took its role with serious cover-ups. The unraveling of the Watergate Scandal owed much to the dogged investigative work of two young reporters at The Washington Post, Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein. Their reporting was often guided by an anonymous source dubbed “Deep Throat”. Their joint work with newspapers and media helped debunk this scandalous story.
In this committee, delegates will face a complex plot, and they are expected to unclothe the wolves in sheep's clothing.
