UNSC, the United Nations Security Council, is one of the 6 principal organs of the United Nations and is charged with ensuring international peace and security, approving new members to the United Nations, and ratifying changes made to the UN Charter. Deemed by many to be the most important factor of the United Nations, the UNSC has a vital and pivotal role in securing the peace and prosperity of the globe. The Security Council takes the lead in determining the existence of a threat to the peace or act of aggression. It calls upon the parties to a dispute to settle it by peaceful means and recommends methods of adjustment or terms of settlement. In some cases, the Security Council can resort to imposing sanctions or even authorizing the use of force to maintain or restore international peace and security. Delegates in the conference will deal with 2 main agendas. First is the situation of Niger which will mostly consist of the recent military coup in Niger that changed the lives of thousands of people.. Our other agenda will include the question of the region of Transnistria.Delegates will have to approach the problem from different areas in order to find peaceful solutions while bringing an end to the dispute.
