UNODC addresses transnational organized crime, illicit drugs, terrorism, and corruption, offering vital policy and operational support worldwide. At KMUN’25, the committee will begin by examining the proliferation of heavy weaponry among mafia organizations in South America, and explore measures to curb this trend. The second agenda will focus on improving legal system transparency to reduce corruption and bribery within national justice sectors. Lastly, delegates will work on combating illicit trafficking via maritime routes in the Indian Ocean, using UNCLOS as a legal framework to strengthen maritime governance and regional cooperation.
